DAY 6: Drink More Water

waterbottlesI know it might sound crazy, but this might be some of the best advice of the series. Keep hydrated; drink more water. How much water should you drink? The average adult should drink 64 oz. of water daily according to most professionals. Hydration is essential for good health.

If you’re trying to lose weight, drink plenty of cold water. If you’re exercising, drink plenty of water at the gym. Carry a water bottle or visit the water fountain frequently when working out. At the office, at home, or while out for the day, take the time to hydrate.

I’ve learned my water intake influences the quality of my workout. If I’m hydrated, I feel and do better. If not, I don’t. Something so simple as drinking water makes a huge difference. Don’t overlook the basics. Grab a bottle of water as you head out the door.
