DAY 1: Check-in With Your Family Physician

Make and keep the appointment. Talk to your doctor about your healthier decision. Ask questions? Get the physician’s advice as to what might be a reasonable course of action for you. Discuss any limitations with your doctor. If there are limitations, be sure and follow any suggested guidelines. Securing a baseline from your doctor will help you track your success from one visit to the next.

For my journey, I was able to observe my chemistry numbers improve. Knowing and watching those numbers improve reinforced good diet and exercise decisions. Also, knowing my physical limitations helped me to discover appropriate exercise regimens to accommodate restrictions.
