DAY 16: Eat Breakfast

oatmealwblueberryBreakfast is probably the most important meal of the day. It jump starts your metabolism and breaks the fast since dinner the night before. Lots of experts lean into the justification. For the longest time, I rarely ate breakfast. I wasn’t hungry in the morning and it wasn’t until I learned the value of breakfast, I made it a habit. I experience more energy when I eat breakfast. Additionally, when I ate in the morning, it curbed my appetite for lunch which led to better lunch choices.

So for breakfast, I alternate and combine various options. Here’s a sample of items I’m eating (apparently not every item every day) in the mornings.
