Here’s a clip of the Kevin Salwen family and their journey to giving half away. I used  their example as a illustration yesterday. Their story is both fascinating and compelling. If you were at Cool Spring yesterday, I thought you might like to see a clip first hand. It brings the discussion about generosity front and center. My talk began with the text in Mark 12:41-44. Remember the widow’s lesson, “It’s not just about what you give, but what you do with what you have.” Practicing generosity changes attitudes, lives, and ministry. Homework for this week: Ask God about what He’d have you to give and then ask Him about how you’re to steward the rest. Remember to read 2 Corinthians 8:1-9:15.
