The books are closed and the #BGAV15 Annual Meeting is history. By and large, It was a good week.
As our newer structure engages the work of the association this year, let’s ask some reasonable questions from our new and existing leadership?
What is the vision for the BGAV? In other words, what is the desired future for the association in five years? Can you describe the destination in seven words or less?
What is our mission? Please don’t recite the purpose statement embedded in our governing documents. Instead, what does this mission look like for us?
What is the plan to reverse the decline? There are growing denominational associations out there, so we can’t simply accept defeat by decline. What specific priorities will you establish? What goals will you enact?
Is there a plan to help partnering BGAV churches transition from mission-minded to missional?
