It’s a misty-rainy day in the middle of October. The leaves are starting to change. The weather is cooler, summer has come to a close, fall is here, and winter is just around the corner. You can both see and feel that change is on its way.
For quite some time, Cool Spring leadership has discussed a staff transition plan. Through many conversations and much prayer, we’ve put together a comprehensive template for realignment. I’m grateful for the incredible team that I serve with. We have an extremely committed and competent staff team at Cool Spring.
Over the next weeks, you’ll hear more about a Staff Transition Plan. On Sunday, October 20, an informational document will be available illustrating the proposed transition along with replies to frequently asked questions.
We’ve scheduled a Town Hall to discuss specifics along with a question and answer session on Sunday, November 3rd. Cool Spring members vote to affirm the plan at our regularly scheduled Business Meeting on Sunday, November 11th. Both meetings start at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
