Powerful. When life changes and capacities dissipate, one’s identity is shattered. Re-purposing or re-establishing identity is a painful journey of self awareness and realignment of one’s calling. I read Ed Dodson’s book The Year of Living Like Jesus a while ago. His journey is a powerful visual experiment. I enjoyed the read. You’ll find Ed’s story to be compelling. You can’t help but be impacted by this reflective piece he did on re-purposing and the impact of unsolicited change in one’s life. So what does it mean to follow Jesus? What do we do with the time we have? Where is your garden?
