Graduation Day

We arrived home a few moments ago. It is official. Katey is a Sterling High School graduate. It’s really hard to believe my oldest will be heading off for college in just a few months. Where have the years gone? We learned just the other day that a lady who’d worked for both my grandparents and parents passed away. Katey reminisced about how she’d taught her to make banana bread. That was nearly ten years ago; it seems like yesterday. Tonight was a big night. We had dinner (bison burgers) with friends and family at the house. Bob and Helen drove in from Florida. We had our cheering section at Stallworth Stadium. It was cool to watch your kid walk the line. Jolanta and I are proud of Katey. She’s a fantastic kid or should I say young lady. Way to go Katey! We love you and are proud of you!
